The Centro Atomico Bariloche and Instituto Balseiro are a research center located in San Carlos de Bariloche, Rio Negro, Argentina. It is operated by the Argentine Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA) with the academic support of Universidad Nacional de Cuyo and it is devoted to research, development and technology transfer in the fields of physics and nuclear engineering as well as the training of undergraduate and graduate students in those areas.
